What are Cookies?
A “cookie” is a small text file created on the user’s computer when the user accesses a certain site, for the purpose of storing and transferring information. Cookies are sent by a web server (which is the computer on which the visited website is being run) to the user’s browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, etc.) and stored on the latter’s computer; they are then resent to the website upon subsequent visits.

Types of Cookies used by this Site
As enumerated in the table above, www.bruniglass.com uses only technical and Google analytics cookies. Pursuant to Art. 122 of the Privacy Act and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Order of 8 May 2014, as well as the Privacy Regulation (especially Art. 95), consent from the data subject is not required for these.

Method of processing
Processing is performed using automated instruments suitable to guarantee, with respect to the purposes for which they were gathered, the security of the same, as well as to prevent unauthorised access by third parties, and moreover in compliance with the aforementioned national and European regulations. Processing is performed by the Data Controller, External Data Processors and persons in charge of the processing appointed on a case-by-case basis. The data is not broadly disseminated.

Data Submission
With the exception of technical cookies strictly required for normal browsing, as well as Google Analytics cookies, for which more information is available at: support.google.com data submission is completely up to the data subject who decides to browse the site after having reviewed the brief policy notice on the pop-up banner, and to use third-party services requiring cookies to be accepted.
The data subject may therefore avoid having cookies installed by keeping the banner (meaning, by refraining by clicking “Accept and close message” to close it), as well as through the specific functions available through their own browser.

Disabling Cookies
In addition to what is provided for herein, you may manage your cookie preferences directly in your browser and block – for example – all third-party cookies. One browser preference is to delete any cached cookies, including cookies in which the consent to have cookies from this site stored on your computer is saved. It is important to note that by disabling all cookies, this site’s functioning may be compromised.

Transfer of personal data overseas
The present site may share some of the data collected with services located outside the EEA zone. Specifically with Google, via Google Analytics. Transfer is authorised pursuant to specific decisions of the EU and the Data Protection Supervisor , especially Decision 1250/2016 (Privacy Shield - here is the Informational webpage on the Data Protection Authority), and thus no additional consent is required. Google guarantees its own compliance with the Privacy Shield as stated on: support.google.com.
